County Block® Retaining Wall System

County Block retaining wall units can be installed by almost anyone — from landscape contractors or construction crews to do-it-yourselfers.

County Block units give you the freedom to create straight walls, serpentine curves, corners and even innovative steps . Designed to capture the strength of gravity , each course is set back one inch from the front of the course below it. This arrangement causes a slight seven degree slant which provides for a wall that is structurally more stable than vertical walls thanks to weight, position and frictional forces between units. A simple pin system locks each unit securely in place, without the hassle of mortar . County Block is maintenance-free and comes in many earthtone colors.
